Research Overview
Sarah Christie is a project manager at CHIP. She works with Dr. Jeffrey Fisher and Dr. Deborah Cornman to develop and disseminate interventions that integrate HIV prevention into care for those living with HIV/AIDS, both locally and abroad. She divides time between the UConn-Storrs campus, Durban, South Africa, and New York City. Before joining CHIP in November 2003, Ms. Christie served as program coordinator for the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) at the New York University School of Medicine, led by Dr. Fred Valentine. She also worked with the AIDS Clinical Trials Unit (ACTU) to bring HIV clinical trials and diagnostics to Mombasa, Kenya.
