Research Overview
Lisa Eaton currently carries out research in the areas of risk compensation, perceived risk, perceived disease prevalence, and interpersonal violence. She has worked with Dr. Seth Kalichman on numerous projects investigating medication adherence, sexual risk behaviors, substance abuse, and treatment beliefs. These studies have been conducted in collaboration with members of the SHARE Project in Atlanta, Georgia. Most recently, Lisa has worked in the areas of rapid HIV testing, dyadic data analyses, partner selection decisions, and male circumcision. Internationally, she is involved in studies of HIV positive persons living in South Africa and Botswana. In addition, Lisa is the editorial manager of the peer reviewed journal, AIDS and Behavior.
